The Montreal Olympic Park completely redesigned the layout of the Gary Carter Lounge, formerly known as the Catcher's Club. The lounge is a corporate room located on the ground and offers breathtaking views behind the Catcher's home plate.
Every detail was executed with the utmost care to commemorate the once-in-a-lifetime player while also ensuring that visitors can fully enjoy the new space. "We began with the restoration of the stadium entrance, and designed the course to better accompany visitors into the lounge. The whole project was thought through to the last detail. The graphic designs were in the spirit of Gary Carter, full of colour, and are paired with custom-designed typography to pay homage to the Kid. It works in the perfect harmony with the Olympic Park's existing graphic platform," explains Hélène Fortin, architect.

Le Parc olympique de Montréal a revu l'aménagement complet du Salon Gary-Carter, anciennement le Club du receveur, une salle corporative située au niveau du terrain avec une vue imprenable derrière le marbre du receveur.
Rien n'a été laissé au hasard pour commémorer l'ancien joueur vedette des Expos, et ce, tout en s'assurant de concevoir un espace des plus agréables pour les visiteurs. « Pensé dans ses moindres détails, le travail de réfection débute dès l'entrée du stade, alors que le parcours a été réalisé afin d'accompagner le visiteur de façon intuitive jusqu'au salon. L'univers graphique se veut à l'image de Gary Carter - haute en couleur - en plus d'une typographie développée sur mesure pour rendre hommage au Kid, tout en s'harmonisant naturellement à la plateforme graphique du Parc olympique », explique Hélène Fortin, architecte.
